The Sheldon Room, formerly the Stewart’s Sitting Room, is the largest of our guest rooms and features the original master bathroom with pedestal sink and two stained glass windows. This romantic room has a very comfortable sitting area and a stunning gas fireplace where guests enjoy reading a book in front of the fire. Another focal point of the room is the beautiful oak tripartite headboard that rises behind the king bed. Like all of our guest rooms, this room has a luxurious steam shower.
"The bed and linens were comfortable. I loved the gas fireplace in the room. But what I may have loved best was the steam shower and wonderful bath products. Thank you so much for the very enjoyable one-night stay. I hope to make it back one day."
